Owen and Courtney got married at a beautiful place, the Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, CT. We got there bright and early and got a chance to experience and capture how the place was transformed to host this wedding. Flowers, candles and little details everywhere made this place looks so exquisite. The staff at the manor, the food and the overall look were just unbelievable.
Here are some of my favorite details, you will see many flowers, but what can I do? I just love flowers, I wouldn’t mind being a florist:
Flowers for the men.
The centerpieces.
First all the girls got ready at The Cottage House, which is only blocks away. Courtney was dealing with a sore throat and comforted with some tea while she was getting her hair and make up done.
Owen getting ready and then playing some pool downstairs while waiting for his bride to come.
I love the way the tie falls and forms an s shape.
Their ceremony was one of my favorites, the Justice of Peace gave a very personalized ceremony, she talked about how they met using quotes from Courtney and Owen themselves. She also noted the importance of parents and grandparents in keeping they legacies of these families.
For their first dance they did the famous Dirty Dancing dance.
